Mademoiselle Noir was designed as a couture commission: black quilted specialty leather, a crystal and pearl statement exclusive jewel, and a camellia charm made to accompany the piece. The collar is 2.5" wide, including padding, and finished in solid brass. The cutting, stitching and edge work were completed entirely done by hand. The concept itself, proportion, hardware, charm, and the quiet formality of black was developed over many hours of design study before a single stitch was placed. This is not a production collar. It is an atelier piece, made once.
